Delete your data

You can ask us at any time to delete your account and the data we hold about you. It is free.

How to ask

Write to [email protected], if possible from the email address of your account or the one you used in the form. Tell us what you want deleted: your whole account, or a particular place, remembrance notice or post (the link helps).

What we delete

• Your account: your profile, your list, likes and watch history.
• What you sent us: the places, notices and posts you sent, with their photos, your contact details and our notes about them.
• We do this within 30 days and confirm it by email.

What you can delete yourself

• Noticeboard posts: take them down from the phone or computer you posted from.
• Settings in your browser (your list, where you stopped watching, the candles you lit): delete the site data for tamilflicks.com in your browser settings.
• Signed in with Google: you can also remove TamilFlicks from the apps connected to your Google account.

What we may keep

Only what the law requires us to keep, and our server logs for a short time for security. Noticeboard posts and declined submissions are deleted automatically 3 months after they end.

Remembrance notices

The family can ask at any time for a notice to be changed or removed. Before we remove a notice someone else asks about, we check with the family.
