Who runs TamilFlicks

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use tamilflicks.com (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

2. Using TamilFlicks

The site is free. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial use.

• Please do not copy, record, download (unless the site offers it), re-broadcast, sell or publicly show films, music, pictures or texts from the site.
• Please do not get around technical protections, use bots or automatic tools to read the site, or try to disturb or attack it.
• Some features need a newer browser or a good internet connection.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Please give correct details and keep your password to yourself. We may stop accounts that break these terms.

4. What you send us

This covers everything you send through the site: places for the Tamil directory, remembrance notices, noticeboard posts, events, films for the creator corner, song dedications, quiz nicknames and reports.

• Your responsibility: what you send must be true and legal, and you must be allowed to share it, including photos. Only send a remembrance notice if you are family or the family agrees.
• Not allowed: hate, insults, threats, adult content, scams, spam, advertising outside the places meant for it, and other people's personal details without their permission.
• Our checks: our team checks everything before it is published. We may shorten or correct it, refuse it, or take it down later, without giving reasons.
• Permission to show it: you allow us, free of charge, to show what you send on the site and in our own channels (for example our WhatsApp channel) for as long as it is online, and to adapt it for display (for example resize a photo or translate a text). You can ask us to remove it at any time.
• Noticeboard: an agreement about a job, a room or a sale is only between you and the other person; TamilFlicks is not part of it. Never pay money in advance to someone you have not met.
• Creator corner: before we publish a film, we agree the details with you.

5. Content on TamilFlicks

Films, music, pictures, logos and texts on the site belong to their owners and are protected by copyright. Live TV channels come directly from the TV stations; we do not control their programmes. Links to other websites are for your convenience; we are not responsible for those websites.

6. If something breaks your rights

If you believe something on TamilFlicks breaks your copyright or other rights, write to [email protected] with the link and a short explanation. We look at it quickly and remove it where needed.

7. Availability

We work to keep TamilFlicks running well, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. We may change, add or stop features, and films or songs may be removed, for example when a licence ends.

8. Liability

TamilFlicks is offered as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, for information that other people publish (directory places, notices, posts) or for live TV streams from other providers. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, for example for intent or gross negligence.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. We then update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.

10. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts at the registered office of the company that runs TamilFlicks are responsible. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can also go to the courts there.
