Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. have officially given the green light to Dune: Messiah, the third film in Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s saga. Villeneuve is set to direct and produce, with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya expected to reprise their roles. Production is slated to begin in late 2025, targeting a 2027 release. Villeneuve has stated this will complete his Dune trilogy.
